Intro:
When swimming, you should never let your pet drink the water because it could be hazardous. Whether it’s chemically treated pool water, salt water at the beach or dirty lake water, your pet could get very sick. Before heading out for a swim, be sure to pack plenty of clean water for them to drink. You’ll also want to pack a pet-safe life vest. Even in a backyard pool a pet may get tired or injured and start to drown. Equipping them with a life vest could help prevent tragedy.
