Please help. I've got a prob. and would like to check it out before taking it to someone. I can not make the drivers seat go back and forth. Need to move it forward so I can drive it. Can it be moved manually. I noticed three tubes underneath. should these be filled with oil? what kind? I can not see how the switch on the side connects to the seat.  Thanks for any help

Typically, once you unbolt the seat, and lift it up, you should see the wiring for the seat. I would first check all your fuses to insure that you don't have a blown fuse, and then check the connections under the seat.

If you have a volt meter, you can also check the voltage to the wiring under the seat. If you have voltage coming up the wires, then you may have an issue with the switch itself, or a seized up motor.

My shop is located in TN., and if you were close enough, I could look at it for you. Then again, you do have to move the seat to drive it... :)

Did it move properly before, and just stop working?
